Casino-Gaming :: Gambling betting system

The main objective of this system is to make up for all losses with a single win.

To win from a casino game, players always go for several betting systems. This system also needs high capital.

Several gambling strategies and betting systems have evolved on the basis of the systems mentioned above. Suppose you have started the game with 1 unit. Now, if you lose, you have to bet 2 units for the 2nd round.

Negative progression betting systems – It is a different kind of betting system to follow which, you have to raise your bets after every loss.

The Martingale System – It is one of the oldest betting systems employed by the players. These systems were invented to save the players from wasting their money in gambling. To be more specific, it is a wise combination of the Martingale and Insurance systems. This particular gambling betting system usually attracts large capital so that a single win can recover all your previous losses. Those are described below:

The 1-3-2-6 System – This system is a kind of positive progression system. The 1-3-2-6 system helps you win at least 4 times at a stretch.

Insurance betting systems – It is a unique kind of betting system where you have to lower your bets after every win instead of increasing them. . Some of them are very useful in various popular casino games, such as Blackjack, Baccarat, Roulette, Let-it-Ride and Poker. That means you are investing 1 unit for the first round of game and increasing the units followed by the wins. If you wish to follow this system, you have to increase your bets after every loss and decrease the amount of bets after every win. Veterans find the 1-3-2-6 system and the Paroli system quite similar. Now, if your luck drives you to win the third game, you are bound to place $60 as your bet for the 4th round. A few gambling betting systems exist, which can be followed in most of the games. The D’Alembert System – This system holds the features of both negative progression system and insurance betting system. If you put $10 as your initial bet and win the game, you have to bet $30 for the next round. If you win, you have to call the same bet as was previously called. It can be applied to even money bets only. If you win again, your proposed bet for the 3rd game will be $20. Any game played under this category involves less capital. Players find this system suitable for playing Roulette. Martingale system holds the characteristics of negative progression. Not all the rules or the systems are applicable in every game. These basic gambling strategies are divided in three categories. Those are as follows:

Positive progression betting systems – If you wish to follow this kind of system to make the most of your money, you need to increase your bets after every win. Let’s understand the system. If you wish to follow the Martingale, you need to double your bets after every loss

10 Tips for Betting on Football

Otherwise, you’re better off doing your own research.”

So, how much should you bet a game?

“Most people with an understanding of football gambling bet between 3 percent and 5 percent of their bankroll, increasing when they win and reducing when they lose,” Vaccaro says. “The sharps are usually members of a betting syndicate privy to the most up-to-date information on injuries, weather, game plans, and, most important, the real power of the teams involved.

“The bookies fear and despise a tiny coterie of professional bettors known as ‘the sharps,’” Konik says. So underdogs tend to be slightly undervalued – except by the sharps.”

And remember, in the immortal words of “Fast” Eddie Felson, “Money won is twice as sweet as money earned.”

1. If you are going to go with a favorite, it is best to place your bet early in the week when the sharps are laying heavy money on the points. “Because alcohol clouds your judgment and usually helps you to make rash decisions you usually wouldn’t otherwise make. Slim underdogs regularly win outright.

“The talking heads on TV know nothing about sports betting,” says Sevransky. To be a successful sports bettor you need to operate with a clear mind.”

“In an average season, fewer than one bettor in twelve turns a profit,” Gordon says. Locks Don’t Exist – “Anyone who has watched sports for about a month realizes that the difference between winning and losing, especially against the spread, can be infinitesimally small,” Gordon says. The only locks that exist are those that need keys to open them.”. Also, being “in action” can make a dull late-afternoon game (Buffalo vs. They use powerful computers that can process millions of bits of data and produce a more accurate point-spread line than the bookmakers.”

“There is probably no better bet in sports than playing an underdog at home,” Moseman says. “As for me, the best bet in football is betting the point spread or over/under totals on individual games. Research Football Services – “Most sports services realize that most people who sign up with them are insecure,” Gordon warns. Focus on Conferences – “The best way to win money betting football is to develop a niche and follow it closely,” Moseman advises. There is a wealth of information on the Internet; it is just up to you to find it and research it daily.”

But that doesn’t mean you have to bet like a “square” and throw away your hard-earned money.

9. Bet at the Right Time – “The sharp bettors tend to bet underdogs, and they tend to bet them early,” Moseman says. “Most people prefer to bet on the ‘better’ team, the one that will probably win the game. He is not taken in by being involved in USC-Notre Dame just because it is the biggest watched game of the day. But, when you’re struggling, that’s when you want to reduce your bet size until you get out of your slump.

However, Konik adds that there are some bettors who actually know how to beat the bookies. Avoid Chasing Bets – “Don’t do it! There is no worse way to mismanage your bankroll than to chase your bets after a losing day,” cautions Moseman on the dangerous practice of trying to immediately win back your losses.

Certainly not back into the pockets of the average bettor. Avoid Exotic Bets – “For very skilled handicappers, with a proven track record, there can, at least in theory, be value in betting parlays,” says Gordon on the type of bet that combines two or more individual wagers. “If you listen to their advice, you are sure to lose.

While these tips don’t guarantee you’re going to win, hopefully they can make you a little less square and a little more sharp in your picks this season.

“A square is the average, unsophisticated gambler whose decision making is based on hunches, media manipulation, or spurious systems that cannot overcome the bookmaker’s inherent mathematical advantage,” Konik explains. If you like an underdog, it is best to get your bet in as late as possible, where there is heavy action from squares on favorites. “Common wisdom says that over the course of a long football season the average man or woman will pick approximately 50 percent winners. The only touts bettors should consider are the ones who talk about the long haul and realistic winning percentages, which are in the upper 50 percent to lower 60 percent range.”

Although exact figures are impossible to calculate, according to Jimmy Vaccaro, widely considered to be Las Vegas’ most influential bookmaker, Americans probably wager more than $50 billion a year on NFL and college football combined. Big underdogs often find ways to cover the spread and they rarely give up toward the end of a game in front of the home crowd.”

Newspapers and popular sports sites routinely publish the lines or point spreads for games, and football insiders offer their picks to viewers each week on ESPN and other cable networks. “In the NFL, a game will often be totally turned around by one or two plays, or even a single penalty. Consider Underdogs – “In the long-run, it’s easier to win betting on the underdog,” Konik says. Giving 11 to 10 odds is almost always the cheapest price you can give.”

Another difference between squares and sharps is how they approach betting on game day.

“A square or recreational player might have a vague plan, but after two Corona’s he will definitely run to the window and make a hasty decision on the USC-Notre Dame game because he wants to be involved in the party atmosphere,” Vaccaro says. “Over the course of several seasons, the percentage of bettors who turn a profit is minuscule.”

8. “When you’re in a good rhythm and winning, you want to increase your bets. If you want advice about sports betting, find someone who has a successful track record.

3. “In trying to bamboozle potential customers, many services make claims about having scouts all over the country that give them inside information and promise 70 or even 80 percent winners, as if the bookmakers were the biggest suckers in the world. Money Management – “This is without a doubt the most important aspect of betting on sports and possibly the most neglected,” says Morey “Doc” Moseman, a professional gambler and sports consultant with DocSports.com for nearly 40 years.

Ted Sevransky, a well-known Las Vegas gambler and sports consultant with Sportsmemo.com, agrees.

Also, it’s probably a good idea to disregard advice from the myriad of ex-players and football experts you see on television each week. “There will be more discrepancy in the numbers at different sports books. Not all games work according to this formula, but it is usually a good rule of thumb.”

6. Drinking and Gambling Don’t Mix – “There is a reason the casinos in Las Vegas supply you with free drinks while you are gambling,” Moseman says. “If you become an expert on a smaller conference like the WAC, you have a good chance to beat the house because sports book operators do not have the time or resources to follow this conference the way you can. If North Texas is his best bet on a Saturday then that is his bet.

“The biggest mistake that amateur bettors make is they increase their bets when they are losing,” Sevransky says. These books change their numbers according to the betting patterns of their customers, so it is not entirely uncommon to find two or three point differences in the lines.”

4. The NFL, for example, will have very similar numbers at most of the betting shops you visit. In fact, sports bettors must pick 52.4 percent winners just to break even.”

Betting on football games; whether it’s through a local bookie, an offshore Internet site or a Nevada casino (still the only legal place in America to make football bets), most of us have done it or know of someone who has. “Squares usually bet later in the week and they tend to pick the favorites. On college you will be able to find different lines at different sports books. “He is not jaded by teams and does not bet with his heart. Shop For Numbers – “Another important aspect of betting on football is shopping for the best number,” Moseman explains. He loses year after year, according to Dan Gordon, a top football handicapper and author of How to Beat the Sports Books (Cardoza Publishing 2005). The payout is just the same as far as he is concerned. There are almost an infinite number of scenarios that can happen in a single football game. “Teams play inspired ball at home.

7.

“A sharp or smart has a plan of what he wants to do,” says Vaccaro, the director of sports operations and public relations at Lucky’s Race and Sports Book in Las Vegas. “For example, if you have a $1,000 bankroll for the season, you should generally bet no more than $50 a game.”

But even though the math says it’s virtually impossible to win on a consistent basis, Americans continue to bet on football.

So, how much are we gambling each football season?

And where does all that money go?

Moseman agrees and especially likes home underdogs.

“The standard bet requires gamblers to lay $11 for every $10 they want to win with the extra $1 or 10 percent known as the juice,” Konik says. “Thus, the bookies love and cherish the squares.”

Michael Konik, a sports writer and best-selling author of The Smart Money (Simon & Schuster 2006), explains why it is so hard for the recreational gambler to win at betting on football. Oakland comes to mind) seem like the Super Bowl. And why not? We have unconditional love for the sport and betting $50 or $100 on a game adds an extra rush of adrenaline.

So, is it possible for the average square to become a little sharper in making football bets this season? According to professionals like Vacarro, Konik and Gordon, amateur bettors have the best chance to win if they demonstrate a little patience and follow the 10 basic tips below. Chasing losses is the fastest way to the poor house.”

Even Hollywood is not immune – think Two for the Money with Al Pacino and Matthew McConaughey.

10. Thanks to the juice, the only one who profits in this scenario is the bookmaker. “The key to proper money management is to be sure not to bet more than you can afford to lose.”

Beyer doesn’t foresee the same result on Saturday. The Derby winner drew really well, also.”

Some horse racing handicappers, like the Washington Post’s Andrew Beyer, thought Bodemeister actually ran the better race at Churchill Downs despite coming in second. “Bodemeister wins the Preakness in a runaway,” he predicts.

Baffert was delighted to receive the No. 7 gate.. Mike Smith is back to ride, and look for the Hall of Fame jockey to put his colt in front right out of the No. It probably doesn’t hurt that his trainer, Bob Baffert, has won the Preakness five times in 11 tries. 7 post in the 11-horse field.

“With him, anything in the middle would be fine,” the Hall of Fame trainer said. “With the Preakness, you just don’t want to be stuck on the inside where you have to use your horse a little bit. The Preakness is a sixteenth-of-a-mile shorter, plus Bodemeister won’t be pressured early like he was in the Derby by Trinniberg and Hansen, who are not entered. Why? Because he’s fast, and the 1 1/4-mile Derby distance was just a little too far for him to carry all that speed.

Online Gambling Rolls the Dice in New Jersey Today

The rollout of 13 websites that allow users to gamble online was pretty seamless, according to operators and the state.

Betfair and other website operators contacted by ABC News declined to provide numbers of how many users signed up today. The company is based in the United Kingdom and runs online gaming sites around the world.

“The focus has been on the rebirth of Atlantic City,” Rebuck said.

David Rebuck, director of New Jersey’s Division of Gaming Enforcement, oversaw the development of the online system and said today that it rolled out so well because it was a privatized system in which companies compete against one another to have the best operational sites.

New Jersey residents can now bet the house from the comfort of their own house.

Now, users can log on from anywhere within the borders of New Jersey and wager money on games like online poker, blackjack, and slot machines.

“There’s a lot of stiff competition and brands out there competing for the same players, so we’re going to give compelling reasons to come back,” Carter said.

The websites are all run by online gaming companies that have operated sites inside and outside the U.S. in the past. “The thinking is that new revenue streams that could come about through more attractive play by casinos and the internet could generate that much more revenue,” for the casinos and New Jersey.

Online gambling officially launched in the state today, making it the third state, and the most dense, to have casinos and online gambling operations legally operating in the United States. “It is not a government website and look, capitalism is a wonderful thing and it worked. It is the private sector competing against one another, so there’s innovation and challenges to be best platform to attract customers to be successful commercially.”

The websites “soft-launched” last week and began testing their software, including geolocation technology that prevents residents from other states from accessing the websites. Chris Christie in February as a possible boon to Atlantic City, which has seen declining revenue in recent years as neighboring states legalized casinos.

“Today is the first full day of live internet gaming that’s open to the entire state, and we’ve started to see significant traffic increases,” said Rebuck.

“There have been challenges around geolocation for all operators, but we had our guys on the ground in Jersey City and they’ve been to 150 locations to see whether they could or couldn’t get on, and the results are great, above what we expected them to deliver,” said Ben Carter, digital director of the online site BetFairCasino.com, which is partnered with Trump Plaza Casino. The Division of Gaming Enforcement also said it did not have numbers available to release.

“This is an area that is private sector run,” Rebuck said, making a veiled comparison to the rocky rollout of the Obamacare website last month.

The law allowing online gambling was signed by New Jersey Gov. Now, they legally operate in New Jersey and are tied to one of six brick-and-mortar casinos, forming online-offline partnerships that many hope will be a boon to the ailing casino industry in the state.

Rebuck said the DGE had developed exacting minimum standards for the websites, including those that prevent underage individuals from gambling, identity fraud measures, and geolocation rules. Many of the companies reported initial issues with the geolocation but said it was working better this week.

Legalizing gambling across the U.S. Chris Christie validated the vice in the waning weeks of 2013, saying he hoped to rake in $1 billion in casino revenues this year, of which the state will collect a 17 percent tax.

Prohibition failed – again

Last month, the president and CEO of the American Gaming Association testified before Congress and urged legislators to repeal their 7-year-old ban on Internet gambling.

Many Americans simply ignored the ban, he noted, as the country did during Prohibition in the ’20s.

What happens online, stays online

Six other firms, including popular companies like WSOP.com and Ultimate Poker and other casinos like Caesars and the Golden Nugget, participated in the “soft play” launch of online gambling in New Jersey in November, the state’s Department of Gaming Enforcement Director Dave Rebuck said during a recent conference call.

“In sports gambling, it’s about the bet,” DeGaris said. Nevada and Delaware also began offering some online gambling last year, but New Jersey is the first state to “fully” legalize it, said Lee Fenton, the chief operating officer of Gamesys.

Not everyone agrees with the odds. But new laws across the nation are rolling the rules back — and lawmakers think they’re holding a royal flush.

“Those from other states can play, but they cannot wager,” Fenton said. Virgin could be holding a full house, but it could also fail before the flop.

Congress banned online gambling in 2006. “The federal government has tried the prohibition approach – specifically the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006 and the Wire Act – and through multiple Justice Department crackdowns on offshore operators as well.”

Players must be at least 21 years old, and either reside in New Jersey or be in the state when they place their bets. will catch up to the rest of the world and allow it at some point.”

“Prohibition simply does not work,” Geoff Freeman told a House panel on Dec. They play against the house at Virgin Casino, and they can finance their wagers with debit cards, credit cards, or in person.

“It’ll be interesting to see how this plays out,” said Laurence DeGaris, associate professor of marketing at the University of Indianapolis and an expert in Internet culture.

“Slots and roulette are very visceral games, lots of bells and whistles. Gov. To put that into further context, Americans accounted for nearly 10 percent of the entire $33 billion worldwide online gaming market,” Freeman said.

Freeman said the Department of Justice has relaxed its views toward online gambling since 2011, and this could open up even more opportunities in the U.S. market research firm H2 Gambling Capital, which focuses on the gaming industry, predicted about $300 million for New Jersey’s online casinos — or about $45 million in tax revenue, according to the New York Times.

“Last year, before a single state authorized legal online gaming, Americans spent nearly $3 billion on illegal, unregulated offshore gaming sites. “Blackjack, slots. market could be worth as much as $9 billion in the coming years as other states, including California, legalize online wagering.

‘Last year, before a single state authorized legal online gaming, Americans spent nearly $3 billion.’

Mega-entrepreneur Richard Branson’s Virgin Group is the latest entry in online gambling, teaming with the Tropicana Resort in Atlantic City and online game maker Gamesys to bring online poker, blackjack and slots to New Jersey this week. 10. That doesn’t translate online,” DeGaris told FoxNews.com. “The technology is rolling out this week.”

“There will be many games to play online in New Jersey,” Fenton told FoxNews.com. Not just poker.”

But analysts are mostly rolling with Christie and the casinos. will generate – in addition to tax revenue from the proceeds at casinos – approximately 22,000 new online gambling-related jobs, Freeman testified.

To prevent unauthorized access, Virgin Casino physically locates gamers’ cellphones periodically. U.K. “If we are unable to determine that you are in New Jersey, you will be unable to play on Virgin Casino,” the site notes. “That’s where I see the huge potential in online gambling, and I reckon the U.S. In online casino gambling, it’s about the game more than the bet.”

- Geoff Freeman, president and CEO of the American Gaming Association

Globally, the business is even more lucrative. Others predict the overall U.S. If your phone is off, or if you’re too near state borders, you may not be allowed to play.

And New Jersey isn’t alone; eight other states have bills in the works that will allow Internet gambling as well. “Blackjack and poker have a very human element that’s lost online. H2 said the industry was worth $33 billion in 2013, with $4.5 billion coming from mobile gambling on iPads, iPhones and smartphones.

Online Gambling in Bermuda

The government of Bermuda does not license online gambling providers.

Nonetheless, there are substantial and valid

objections to legalised gambling….”

In 2000, Antigua and Barbuda reported that its online gaming sector contributed

$37.5 million to local coffers through taxation and employed in the neighborhood

of 3000 people..

Now, with tourism arrivals plummeting, it appears government is prepared to at

least look at the question. Proponents on the other hand argue that

online gambling licensing would bring in additional tax revenue which could be

used to further develop the tourism industry. They are a confused mess, with some forms of gambling being

legal, while others are banned.

For years now, some hotels and tourism

observers have seen casinos as critical to any sustained recovery in tourism.

An examination of the Island’s gambling laws

is no bad thing. Other jurisdictions that do so tend to

attract a less wholesome reputation. According to a report in Bermuda’s Royal Gazette the tropical island is giving

If it did decide to become a center for online gambling, “it would mean gamblers

abroad, most likely from the U.S., having their wagers processed in Bermuda —

giving the betting companies tax breaks on profits and keeping them out of reach

of anti-Internet gambling American authorities,” Tim Smith of the Gazette

reported.

The United States passed anti-online gambling legislation back in 2006 and there

have been a number of indictments and arrests associated with it.

You can play “Crown

propose to take it even further.  Some would like to see

casinos attracting

more tourists to the island.  Others say, “NO!”   Our people have

a hard enough time making ends meet without losing hard earned, much needed

income on frivolous expenditures.

Still, some are talking about bringing

online gambling to

the island.

Well guess what!?  Online gambling is already here!

“Bermuda to become online gambling hub?”

The move would certainly give an “adrenaline shot” into the local economy.

Legalised Gambling in Bermuda:  Bermuda was a gentle, well-mannered resort,

catering to genteel, upper-middle- class people.

Bermuda Mulls Online Gambling Option | Gambling911.com30 Oct 2008 The

Bermuda government has suggested it is interested in entering the multi billion

dollar online gambling industry, but at what price?

Gambling News | Gambling911.comBermuda Mulls Online Gambling Option. The law itself is desperately in need of

modernisation, as the Internet and other new developments have revolutionised

the world of gaming.

Casinos or lotteries also have the potential

of raising substantial revenues for Government without the pain associated with

tax increases. Reader reads the latest reports on where gambling sites are

actually hosted. While it is not officially

licensed, the government makes no attempt to prevent people from accessing

foreign-operated gambling sites.

But establishing an online gaming sector could come with its headaches too.

An online gambling study is said to be in the works.”     ~http://mb.winneronline.com
